Nathan - glad to read that you enjoyed the book so much. I get the feeling that you haven't read all of Dr Seuss's books. Do yourself and your daughter one huge favour. Buy all the books. Dr. Seuss was concerned about all sorts of issues that are relevant today. The Lorax is one of my favourites, posing huge environmental concerns (in the 1920s for goodness sake!!) and then Green Eggs and Ham - if you want to get your children to eat something foreign to them, this is the book!!! The Cat in the Hat will bring back memories of when you did something wrong at home and nearly got found out!!! I have used these books with young and older children, very effectively!

Thanks Seth. I usually read for half an hour or so before bed. I always have a book when I travel. And I always have an audio book on in the car.

Nate,

I enjoy this book as well! When I graduated high school I received this book from one of my grade school teachers!! I will be anxious to read it again when we unpack our books out of storage. Thanks for sharing!
